Courts and justice services in Portugal announced significant changes to the registration process for training activities. From now on, the registration period will operate on a continuous basis, allowing interested parties, as well as the courts themselves, to register up to two days before the start of each activity.
Validation of participation remains subject to receiving the official summons, which will be issued by the Training Portal. Slots for in-person activities will remain limited to the capacity of the training rooms, which may impact the availability of places.
Authorities recommended that participants consult the program contents of the activities before registering, ensuring they have access to detailed information about what will be covered.
This new approach is seen as a positive step towards improving the training and updating of justice professionals in Portugal. The decision aims to make the management of workers' availability more flexible, facilitating access to training. The information was published by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Justice.
