The images show accidents on the aprons of Portuguese airports, involving heavy vehicles driven by workers who only have a light vehicle license. The situation was reported and affects the three mainland airports in the country: Porto, Faro and Lisbon.
ANA Aeroportos, responsible for managing the airport space, states that it is complying with the law regarding this situation. However, the workers involved guarantee that no one assumes the order to drive these heavy vehicles without the appropriate qualification in writing.
Repórter SÁBADO managed to document photographically some of these accidents on the airport aprons, highlighting the risks associated with this practice. The issue raises concerns about security at national airports and compliance with driving regulations.
