A wave of judicial reorganizations is reaching smaller businesses in Brazil. The number of micro and small companies under court protection in restructuring proceedings was 2,821 in June, representing a jump of 41.4% compared to the same month in 2025.
This growth is almost double the rate recorded by the country's business sector as a whole, considering medium and large companies, which had an increase of 21.2% in the same period.
The data comes from the Monitor RGF-BizDoc survey, which monitors judicial reorganization proceedings in Brazil.
