Pedro Sampaio made his debut on the Rock in Rio Mundo Stage with a show that mixed various musical genres — like piseiro, reggaeton, brega, house music, and sertanejo — all passing through the funk filter. The artist commanded the spectacle on a stage made of sofas and started up high, promoting with his ballet a funk apotheosis from hits like "Poc poc." The audience responded in full force, without much time to breathe, to the sound of a frantic DJ mix.
The afternoon hadn't even fallen yet and the audience occupation was that of a K-pop star, with a sea of yellow fans distributed by the artist, with the inscription "hug your friend and jump," waving at the slightest signal that the presentation was about to begin. The visual effect was exemplarily explored on the screen, with a complete Carnival fanfare on top of the stage.
Pedro Sampaio came from a consecration on the main stage of Rock in Rio Lisboa, in June, and already knew the size of the challenge he had ahead in his debut at Mundo. The audience's knees were tested with each pause and gallop in the frantic repertoire presented.
