Brazilian sailor Haroldo Solberg was crowned world champion of the J/70 class this Saturday in Cascais. This victory represents an important milestone for the Brazilian athlete in international sailing competition.
Portuguese sailor Tiago Morais, who is the national champion of the J/70 class, finished the World Championship in 12th place overall. This result made him the best Portuguese in the competition that took place in the waters of Cascais.
The J/70 class World Championship brought together the best international sailors in the specialty, and Cascais once again served as the venue for a reference competition on the world sailing calendar.
