The Disciplinary Council of the Portuguese Football Federation decided to uphold the two-game ban applied to Guilherme Liberato. The sanction was confirmed after the player was sent off during the match against FC Porto.
The reason for the dismissal was an elbow directed at player Froholdt. The incident occurred during the match between the two teams and resulted in a straight red card for Guilherme Liberato.
The player saw his appeal rejected by the disciplinary body, which means he will have to serve the two-game suspension that was initially imposed.
