In Tuesday's plenary session, September 15, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) would decide whether Justice Alexandre de Moraes can be investigated. The Court, under the presidency of Justice Edson Fachin, would analyze whether the law applies to everyone or if there is someone above it, dealing with a historic question for the court.
The reason for the investigation is 52 messages found by the Federal Police (PF) on Daniel Vorcaro's phone, pointed out as possibly the biggest fraudster in the history of the national financial system. In the messages, the banker, already under intense investigation and about to be arrested, in addition to swearing loyalty, asks for advice and help from the justice.
According to the analyzed messages, Vorcaro appears to receive information under court seal from Justice Alexandre de Moraes. There are even more serious indications, such as meetings between the fraudster and the justice outside official agendas, in addition to a R$130 million contract signed between the parties.
