The Judicial Police arrested a suspect for the death of a foreign couple and the concealment of their bodies on a property in Lagos. The bodies were found inside a cistern located on the property, showing signs that the crime was committed with "extreme violence".
The suspect was ultimately located by the National Republican Guard in possession of stolen goods, which contributed to his identification and subsequent arrest by the authorities.
This case follows another homicide that occurred in Lagos in early September, where a couple of foreign tourists was found dead in a holiday home. Authorities continue to investigate whether there is any connection between the two cases.
