The leaders of the countries that make up BRICS met in New Delhi for a summit dedicated mainly to economic and geopolitical issues. The meeting took place on a Saturday and addressed topics such as trade and investment.
Among the main issues discussed were the war in Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East and the tensions between the United States and China. These topics tested the unity of the group of countries.
The diversity of positions among BRICS members was evident, given that the group includes countries with different perspectives on the global conflicts under debate.
