On September 26th, the meeting "The power of the territorial brand: Identity, differentiation and competitiveness" will take place in Estremoz, starting at 3:00 PM, at the Berardo Collection Museum Estremoz. The initiative, promoted by the APPM Alentejo Marketing Club, brings together representatives from local administration, tourism, higher education and the business sector to debate how Alentejo's identity can strengthen the capacity to attract investment, visitors and talent.
The panel includes José Daniel Sádio, mayor of Estremoz; José Manuel Santos, president of the Regional Tourism Promotion Agency of Alentejo; Paula Reis, associate professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre; and Hugo Oliveira Ribeiro, CEO of HBR Comunicação. The moderation will be handled by Carla Fonseca, professor, researcher and Director of the APPM Alentejo Marketing Club.
The event proposes a reflection on the construction and affirmation of territorial brands, addressing territorial marketing beyond tourism promotion, including its economic positioning, the valorization of local resources and the capacity for territorial affirmation. In the case of Alentejo, the discussion takes on a regional dimension due to the diversity of resources associated with the identity of different territories, including heritage, landscape, gastronomy, wines, local products and cultural manifestations.
The meeting counts with the support of the Estremoz City Council, Berardo Collection Museum Estremoz and Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal, and is aimed at marketing professionals, managers, companies, agencies and educational institutions in the region.
