Director of School Grouping points to CTE as step in modernizing vocational education in Beja

The approximation between the training provided in schools and the needs of companies is one of the main objectives of the new Specialized Technological Centers (CTE) Industrial and IT at D. Manuel I School, in Beja, according to the director of School Grouping No. 2, Maria José Chagas.

In statements to ODigital.pt, Maria José Chagas referred to the CTE as a step in modernizing vocational education in the region.

The two new centers aim to provide students with training more aligned with the demands of the labor market, strengthening the link between the school environment and the business sector.

D. Manuel I School, through these centers, thus aims to contribute to the qualification of students and the dynamization of the local economic fabric.
