The Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre, inaugurated this Friday two Specialized Technological Centers (CTE) at Escola D. Manuel I, in Beja. During the visit, the official stated that these centers will "completely change vocational education" in Portugal.
Fernando Alexandre highlighted that the national investment in CTE exceeds almost 500 million euros. The goal is to modernize and strengthen vocational training in the country through these specialized spaces.
The Specialized Technological Centers represent a government investment in the qualification of young people and the connection between education and the needs of the labor market. The ceremony in Beja marks another step in the implementation of this network of centers across the national territory.
