The matter of tunnels in Portuguese football is back, this time at the Estádio do Dragão. At halftime of FC Porto-Manchester City (0-2), a Champions League match, there was a scuffle involving several players from both teams, according to the Manchester Evening News. Just a few days before, there had also been agitation with the Minhotos from Moreirense.
The origin of the commotion reportedly was an elbow to the face of Gabri Veiga, delivered by Marc Guehi. The FC Porto player was left bleeding after the contact.
The FC Porto players wanted Marc Guehi to be sent off, protesting to the refereeing team.
At halftime, the protests continued in the Estádio do Dragão tunnel, with tension between the players from both teams.
