Spanish authorities are investigating Portuguese nationals for the alleged involvement in a quadruple homicide in the town of Isla Cristina, located in the province of Huelva, very close to the border with Portugal. The investigation is being carried out by Spanish security forces.
The victims are two men and a woman who was pregnant. All were shot dead, which suggests a violent and premeditated crime.
The crime scene was Isla Cristina, a coastal area in Spanish Algarve territory, frequently visited by Portuguese due to its proximity to the border. This location may have facilitated the escape of the presumed perpetrators to Portugal.
The theory currently held by Spanish authorities points to the perpetrators being of Portuguese nationality, although investigations are still ongoing to confirm this theory and identify all those involved.
