The Association of Fish Traders of the Azores filed an interim injunction against the Regional Secretariat for Sea and Fisheries of the Autonomous Region of the Azores. The objective of this legal action is to obtain the suspension of two decrees published by that regional body.
ACPA, which represents fish traders in the region, is the entity driving this process against the measures implemented by the regional fisheries authority in the Azores.
The two decrees targeted by the interim injunction are legal instruments from the Regional Secretariat for Sea and Fisheries, the body responsible for managing fishing policies and maritime activities in the autonomous region. The interim injunction was filed to try to halt the implementation of these measures that the association contests.
