The Judicial Police arrested a 45-year-old caretaker suspected of having murdered an elderly couple and hidden their bodies on the property where he worked, in Lagos. The man, who was an employee of the victims, was identified as the main suspect of the crime.
The victims were a 79-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman. According to authorities, the bodies were hidden in a cistern located on the rural property where the suspect worked and lived.
The operation was carried out by the Judicial Police, which developed the investigation to identify and locate the suspect. After the arrest, authorities began procedures to recover and identify the hidden bodies.
