The Local Health Unit of Tâmega and Sousa (ULSTS) organized a meeting in Penafiel dedicated to Physiotherapy, bringing together professionals and students in the field. New U.Porto Canteen: A Model of Excellence in University Catering

The University of Porto inaugurated a new Food Unit at the Campo Alegre campus, at the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences (FCNAUP), open to the public since September 7. Result of a collaboration between SASUP and FCNAUP, celebrating the fifty years of the country's first Nutrition course, the space functions as a canteen and snack-bar, offering dishes inspired by the Mediterranean diet, salads, soups, sandwiches and desserts. Director Pedro Graça stated that the unit aims to be a model and laboratory of nutritional experiences to improve university food service, also serving as a training space for students. The canteen operates Monday to Friday from 12:30 to 14:30, while the snack-bar is open Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 18:00 (Saturdays until 13:00), with meals at affordable prices.
