Two Portuguese airlines, TAP and SATA (Azores Airlines), are in simultaneous privatization processes, each at its own stage of development. In SATA's case, eight entities have expressed interest in acquiring the Azorean airline, which demonstrates attractiveness for the Portuguese aviation sector. The company has returned to the privatization process after the failure of the first divestment attempt.
