Pipa Brasey chose the song "Resposta ao Tempo" by Cristóvão Bastos and Aldir Blanc for the show she will perform in Mauritius on the 25th. The choice has special significance for the singer, who grew up listening to Nana Caymmi.

The contact between Pipa and Nana happened during the production of the DVD "Eu, Você e a Bossa," released by Pipa in 2025. After recording "Resposta ao Tempo" in São Paulo, she sent the video to Nana, who was hospitalized. Before the artist's death in May 2025, Nana responded with compliments about the interpretation.

According to Pipa, Nana Caymmi said she had never liked the song performed by other artists, but that with Pipa it had been perfect. The veteran also praised the interpretation, the visuals, the location, the band and even said that Pipa's voice sounded like hers. For the young singer, receiving this recognition from one of the greatest voices in Brazilian music was very important.
