The general secretary of CGTP announced that the confederation will move forward with a "month of action, mobilization and struggle," with the objective of involving workers in political discussion and alerting them to their labor rights. This initiative comes in a context of concern about working conditions and the defense of workers' rights in Portugal.
CGTP intends to mobilize workers for greater participation in political and union life, emphasizing the importance of being informed about their rights within labor relations. This awareness action is part of a broader strategy by the confederation to strengthen the voice of workers.
At the same time, the Government announced a change in fiscal policy regarding fuels. An increase in the discount on the excise duty on petroleum products (ISP) for diesel is planned, while the discount for gasoline will be reduced. This measure aims to adjust fuel taxation according to the priorities defined by the executive.
