Mação prepares plan to reduce wild boar and admits to financing control actions

The municipality of Mação is preparing a plan to reduce the wild boar population in the region. The president of the Municipal Council advocates that Mação should be included in a pilot project that the Government is preparing to reduce the wild boar population in areas where it is considered excessive. The municipality also admits to financing control actions for the species.
