A train derailed this Friday in northern France, between the cities of Rouen and Caen. The incident caused a derailment that resulted in injuries among passengers.
Authorities confirmed at least 44 injured as a result of the accident. Emergency teams were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance to the victims.
The derailment occurred in the Normandy region, in the north of the country. The causes of the accident have not yet been disclosed by French authorities.
