Datafolha SP: Tarcísio reaches 49%, against Haddad's 29%

The Datafolha survey released this Friday (11) shows the current governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos), leading the re-election race with 49% of voting intentions. The main adversary, the former president of Caixa and former presidential candidate Fernando Haddad (PT), appears with 29%.

The previous Datafolha survey, released on August 21, showed Tarcísio with 45% and Haddad with 27%. In July, the survey pointed to 46% for the governor and 30% for the PT candidate, while in March, the institute's first survey this year, Tarcísio maintained the lead with 44% versus Haddad's 31%, showing a growth trend for the governor over time.

In the second group, other candidates appear: Carlos Machado (PCB) with 3%, Police Officer Edjane (Agir) with 3%, Vera Lúcia (PSTU) with 2%, Vivian Mendes (UP) with 2%, and Izadora Dias (PCO) with 1%.

In 2022, Tarcísio and Haddad had already faced each other in the second round of the São Paulo gubernatorial election, when the Republicanos candidate won with 55.27% of the valid votes.
