Study on social sector in the Azores awaits response from IPSS — Regional Government

The Regional Government of the Azores revealed that the study on the costs of social responses has not yet been concluded. The reason for this delay is related to the lack of response from 16 private social solidarity institutions (IPSS) that have not yet submitted the requested data.

The Azorean executive made this announcement in response to criticism put forward by the Socialist Party (PS) regarding the situation of the social sector in the region. The study in question aims to assess the costs associated with the social responses provided by the IPSS in the Azores.

The institutions that have not yet responded represent a significant portion of the total universe of IPSS contacted to participate in the survey. Without the collaboration of these 16 institutions, the study remains incomplete and does not reflect the entirety of the reality of the social sector in the region.

The Regional Government stressed that the conclusion of the study depends directly on obtaining the missing responses from the pending institutions.
