The trial of two Public Security Police agents, identified as Óscar Borges, 26 years old, and Guilherme Leme, 23 years old, accused of mistreatment and torture at the Rato police station, has begun.
The two agents are suspected of having committed one of the most violent episodes related to this case, which involves alleged mistreatment and torture at that police station.
According to the prosecution, the agents allegedly sodomized a citizen using a police baton as the instrument for the act.
The trial is now underway to determine the responsibility of the two agents for the practices attributed to them.
