Casa de Mateus, in Vila Real, hosts on Saturday, September 12, a staged reading that proposes to the public a theatrical route through seven spaces of the heritage complex. The initiative "AGZ X | New Dramaturgies" begins at 6:00 PM and integrates the architecture and landscape of the property into the theatrical experience.
The staging is by Teatro da Rainha and presents texts by seven authors, developed within the Writing Workshops coordinated by Henrique Manuel Bento Fialho and Manuel Portela. The artistic direction is by Fernando Mora Ramos.
The performance runs through spaces such as the Barrão, the Threshing Floor, the Giant Cedar, the Chapel, the Cedar Tunnel, the Garden of Crowns and the Water Garden. The initiative results from a co-production between the Casa de Mateus Foundation and Teatro da Rainha.
