The Federal Police pointed out in an investigation into Banco Master that banker Daniel Vorcaro was preparing to flee days before his arrest, in November 2025. The information appears in a report that was made public by Minister André Mendonça, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF).
According to the investigators, a sequence of messages and records on the banker's phone indicates that he had advance knowledge that judicial measures would be taken against him. The report also points out that Vorcaro monitored authorities, accessed confidential information related to ongoing investigations, and tried to obstruct justice and influence public agents.
The investigators revealed that the banker monitored the investigations against him and asked that the group "A Turma," linked to police officers, act against people he considered adversaries in certain situations. The analyzed messages indicate a pattern of behavior that, according to the PF, demonstrated preparation for flight.
