Minister Alexandre de Moraes sent an official letter to the president of the Supreme Federal Court, Luiz Edson Fachin, criticizing the actions of colleague André Mendonça. The contestation refers to the way Mendonça lifted the secrecy of cases related to Banco Master, which according to Moraes was done selectively.
Moraes argues that the cases involving Banco Master are interconnected and that the partial disclosure of documents harms the analysis of evidence. The minister requested that all material be made public, including investigations involving the Dark Horse film, about the political trajectory of former President Jair Bolsonaro.
In the document sent to Fachin, Moraes states that there is partial conduct on the part of André Mendonça and also requests that the case involving Mendonça himself be put to judgment. The police intelligence report lifted by the Federal Police, which Moraes had access to, is also mentioned as a target of contestation.
The Supreme Federal Court will hold on Tuesday (15th) a session to discuss whether to open an investigation against Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
