Sweden holds legislative elections in two days, in a ballot that is expected to be very close.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson issued a warning to other European countries, alerting that the Swedish left could block commitments made by the country to NATO.
The issue arises in a context where Sweden, as a member of the Atlantic alliance, has military obligations and commitments to its allies.
Kristersson thus seeks to mobilize voters before the elections, highlighting the consequences that a possible left-wing victory could have for Sweden's relations with NATO and with the other European countries.
