The Federal Police listed five specific questions it intends to clarify in the inquiry opened to investigate the financing of the film Dark Horse. The document was sent to Supreme Court Justice André Mendonça, who decided to open the investigation to examine crimes of money laundering, currency evasion, and corruption. The investigation had the approval of the Attorney General's Office.
The decision was made in July but came to public attention now with the lifting of the seal on part of the investigations into the Master case. The inquiry that directly deals with Senator Flavio Bolsonaro's involvement remains under court seal, but the ruling that determines the investigation appears in the main inquiry of the Master case.
Among the questions the PF seeks to answer are what was the "role effectively played" by the senator and presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro, by former deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro, by deputy Mário Frias, and by five other people involved in the transfers from banker Daniel Vorcaro for the film. The police also intends to clarify the "origin of the resources" destined for the film.
