Nepal needs 4.12 billion euros to rebuild the areas affected by flooding. The amount is intended for the reconstruction of buildings, bridges and other infrastructure damaged by the catastrophe.
The Nepali Government is the main responsible for the reconstruction plan. It also requested 57.67 million dollars specifically for search operations and immediate emergency response actions.
The reconstruction work covers not only housing and buildings, but also essential infrastructure such as bridges and other public facilities damaged by the flooding.
The total amount of 4.12 billion euros represents the estimated cost for the complete recovery of the areas affected by the natural disaster in the country.
