A project with epicenter in Mação is bringing together artificial intelligence, science and memories of populations to support decisions about the future of territories. The project has applications not only in Portugal, but also in other regions of Europe, South America and Asia.
The project coordinator unveiled this initiative today, highlighting that the computer will not give the answers about the decisions the community has to make. According to the same source, these will always be political options of current society.
The project uses community memory as a fundamental tool, combining it with artificial intelligence technologies and scientific knowledge to think about the future of the territories where it is applied.
