David John Castañeda, an American from Texas, reached 210 kg at 19 years old, suffering from binge eating. He reported devouring food until "feeling pain" and having all his thoughts focused on food. His diet included an eight-egg omelette with cheese, ham and bacon for breakfast, followed by an entire package of pasta with meat or chicken and countless slices of bread, in addition to large piles of tortillas at every meal, which he described as a Hispanic family tradition. For dinner, he ate more meat and a large portion of rice, and his usual snacks were bowls of cereal, chips, popcorn and ice cream.

He described that the constant battle against hunger consumed his thoughts and wore him down. He recalled that he didn't exercise and that his eating was out of control, emphasizing that he didn't eat out of hunger, but because it had become a habit. According to him, he had lost the ability to recognize when he had already had enough, and his body was also compromised.

Castañeda managed to lose 124 pounds without surgery or weight loss pen, completely transforming his life. After this personal achievement, he became a weight loss coach, helping other people achieve similar results. The article was published by the tabloid The Sun.
