The campaign of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) set up a task force to analyze documents from the Banco Master case whose secrecy was lifted by the Supreme Court (STF). Minister André Mendonça released access to the investigation that is looking into former banker Daniel Vorcaro, and members of the campaign's communication team spent the night reading the case documents to select excerpts that could be used against the opponent.
The task force's goal is to produce damaging material against the PL candidate, Flavio Bolsonaro, to include in this Saturday's electoral broadcast. One of the videos being prepared will highlight that the senator is being investigated for suspicions of corruption and money laundering in the inquiry about the financing of the film "Dark Horse", which tells the story of former President Jair Bolsonaro.
Lula's campaign strategy seeks to link Flavio Bolsonaro's name as much as possible to Daniel Vorcaro's, creating what they call "Fláviorcaro". Based on the released documents, publications for social media and material for the free electoral advertising will be produced. The senator denies all irregularities pointed out in the investigations.
