CHEGA questions Government about Oncology reorganization in Alto Alentejo

The CHEGA Parliamentary Group presented a request to the Government requesting clarification about the reorganization of the Oncology response at the Local Health Unit (ULS) of Alto Alentejo. The right-wing party wants to know what measures are planned and the timelines for this reorganization.

The ULS of Alto Alentejo covers the hospitals of Portalegre and Elvas, serving a vast area of the inland Alentejo region. The reorganization of oncology services in this region raises concerns about patients' access to specialized healthcare.

The party considers it essential that the Executive provide detailed information about the plan for Oncology in the region, in order to ensure that the population of Alto Alentejo is not deprived of adequate oncology care.
