The venue of the Live Nativity Scene of Priscos, in Braga, will host on September 12 and 13 a solidarity event called "Solidarity Sunset". The initiative aims to raise funds for the reconstruction of the Parish Church of Priscos, a community space that needs recovery interventions.
The event proposes two days of gathering for participants, accompanied by music and gastronomy. The Live Nativity Scene venue, usually associated with the representations of the birth of Jesus during the Christmas period, will be transformed into a meeting and solidarity space during this September weekend.
The organization of the Solidarity Sunset is in charge of local promoters who decided to associate the recovery of the community's religious heritage with a moment of fun and sharing. The parish church of Priscos, as a reference space for the inhabitants of the parish, motivated this fundraising action that combines culture, leisure, and social support.
