Rego revealed that Morocco does not facilitate the return of minors even when there are concordant wishes on the part of the child and the family. This lack of collaboration on the part of Moroccan authorities contrasts with the urgent need to protect these vulnerable young people.
On the other hand, the minister confirmed the departure of the first five girls from Ceuta who will be welcomed in the Foral Community of Navarra. This welcome represents a concrete step in the humanitarian response to the needs of these minors.
