SAPO Notícias11 September 2026 at 12:16

Metropolitano de Lisboa announced the launch of a new telephone assistance service at outdoor elevators and equipment located on the boarding platforms. This new support number aims to facilitate passenger contact with the metro infrastructure.

The service was created especially for passengers who need support during the journey, particularly in situations related to elevator operation. The measure comes to address the mobility needs of users.

The new system allows passengers to request help more directly when facing problems with elevators, improving accessibility and assistance available at Metropolitano de Lisboa stations.
