Licensing of new homes accelerates 10.8% in the second quarter

The licensing of new homes accelerated by 10.8% in the second quarter, according to data from the National Statistics Institute. This growth represents a recovery compared to the first quarter of the year, when the number of licensed and completed homes in the family housing segment had declined. The residential construction sector thus shows signs of recovery after a negative start to the year. The INE, responsible for the collection and publication of these statistical data, confirms that the trend reversed in the months of April to June.
