Mega-Sena accumulates to R$ 85 million

No bettor managed to match all six numbers of the Mega-Sena contest 3,056 drawn on Thursday night. The numbers drawn were 14, 21, 25, 40, 51, and 56. As a result, the prize accumulated and is estimated at R$ 85 million for the next drawing, which will take place on Sunday (the 13th).

According to Caixa Econômica Federal, 50 bets matched five numbers and will receive R$ 45,990.43 each. Another 3,344 bets matched four numbers and will take home an individual prize of R$ 1,133.49.

Since November 3, 2025, lottery drawings have been moved to 9 PM, with the exception of the Federal Lottery. Bets can be placed at lottery stores nationwide, on the Loterias Caixa portal and the Loterias Caixa app, available for iOS and Android, as well as via internet banking for bank customers.

Interested parties can place their bets until 8 PM, while the app and Loterias Caixa portal allow a tolerance until 8:30 PM for purchasing pool bets.

IPCA drops 0.32% in August, with decline in electricity bills and food prices

The IPCA, Brazil's official inflation index, fell 0.32% in August, recording the first monthly deflation since August of last year.
