The port of Castellón is going through a period of important developments, with the expansion of the surface area in the south dock, the arrival of the train to this area and the construction of an intermodal station. Adding to these projects is the development of the LogistiCS industrial park. The Port Authority is preparing a general renovation of its road communications in preparation for these improvements.
To ensure the necessary connectivity, the port allocated 630,000 euros to improve its access infrastructures. The first two projects, the expansion of the south dock and the arrival of the train to the intermodal area, are already under construction. Their completion is expected next year.
The connectivity improvement plan comes in response to the need to prepare the port to receive the intermodal station and the LogistiCS park. These infrastructures represent strategic investments for the region's logistics and industrial development.
