The Supreme Administrative Court blocked the expulsion of a cadet from the Public Security Police for posts considered homophobic and nationalist on social media. The decision prevented the Higher Institute of Police Sciences and Internal Security from carrying out the student's exclusion.
The central issue in the case concerned the chronology of the posts. The court considered that the offensive content was written before the cadet had any connection with the PSP training institute.
The ISCPSI based the expulsion proposal on the incompatibility of the posts with the values that should guide future police officers, including the duty of impartiality and respect for all citizens.
