The Balkan country stated that September 11 represents a moment that profoundly changed the way of looking at freedom, security and the international order. This declaration reflects the lasting impact that the attacks had globally.
Montenegro thus joined other countries that commemorated the anniversary of the attacks that killed nearly three thousand people in the cities of New York, Washington and Pennsylvania more than two decades ago.
