Porto considers it "fair" that the State financially helps future works in health centers

The Porto City Council considers it "fair" that the State co-finances future rehabilitation works in the municipality's health centers. The council had already identified, in 2024, several health centers whose rehabilitation could apply to the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), but ended up dropping some applications due to the too short deadlines imposed by the program. The mayor, Rui Moreira, defended the need for state support for these interventions, highlighting that the municipality cannot bear alone all the costs of requalifying health infrastructures.
