Federal Police suspect that Toffoli is the owner or beneficiary of a fund that received R$ 35 million from Vorcaro

The Federal Police sent a new report to Minister André Mendonça pointing to suspicions that Supreme Court Justice Dias Toffoli is the actual owner or final beneficiary of an investment fund that received R$ 35 million transferred by former banker Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master. The information was revealed by Piauí magazine.

Investigators point out that the funds would have been remitted to a structure based in the British Virgin Islands, a tax haven in the Caribbean. The central point of the suspicions is the direct corporate link between the Arleen fund and the Tayayá resort, an enterprise belonging to Dias Toffoli and family members in the interior of Paraná.

The PF reports also reveal that Daniel Vorcaro organized a private Halloween party in São Paulo in October 2023, with the aim of strengthening relationships with authorities. In the released conversations, the coordination between former Bolsonaro government Communications Secretary, Fábio Faría, and Vorcaro appears.

Porto considers it "fair" that the State financially helps future works in health centers

The Porto City Council considers it "fair" that the State co-finances future rehabilitation works in the municipality's health centers. The council had already identified, in 2024, several health centers whose rehabilitation could apply to the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), but ended up dropping some applications due to the too short deadlines imposed by the program. The mayor, Rui Moreira, defended the need for state support for these interventions, highlighting that the municipality cannot bear alone all the costs of requalifying health infrastructures.
