A new digital financial literacy barometer, developed by Universidade Católica, concluded that one third of Portuguese people have little trust in digital financial services.
The study was conducted with 700 people in partnership with Doutor Finanças, a financial education platform.
The data reveal that 90% of participants use the internet every day.
Additionally, 94% own a smartphone with internet access, which contrasts with the reduced level of trust in digital financial services.
