The third edition of RIA - Streets of Artistic Intervention is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. The event will occupy nine commercial spaces in the center of the city of Aveiro, transforming them into exhibition and artistic intervention venues.
During this edition, the selected commercial spaces will host artists from different creative fields. This approach allows art to reach places where it would not usually be found, bringing it closer to the pedestrianized public of the city.
The RIA project aims to revitalize the historic center of Aveiro through artistic interventions, creating a connection between local commerce and the artistic community. This initiative represents an effort to revitalize the commercial spaces of the city.
The 2026 edition continues the work developed in previous editions of the program, maintaining the focus on art as a tool for urban intervention and cultural revitalization of the city of Aveiro.
