MC Cabelinho is the attraction this Friday (11th) at Rock in Rio's Espaço Favela. The singer and actor will also have a role in the new Globo soap opera called "Paraíso perdido," where he will play an employee at Werneck's bus company, a character played by Alexandre Nero. In the plot, he will be married to Joice, played by Thainá Duarte, and will have fellow cast members Juan Paiva (Edgar) and Eduardo Sterblitch (Peixoto).
The soap opera "Paraíso perdido" is written by George Moura and Sergio Goldenberg, based on four works by playwright Nelson Rodrigues: "Bonitinha, mas ordinária," "A mulher sem pecado," "Toda nudez será castigada," and "Os sete gatinhos." With 40 episodes, the story will take place in present-day Rio de Janeiro, and filming will begin this month under the direction of Joana Jabace.
Alanis Guillen will play Maria Cecília, Werneck's daughter. In his acting portfolio, MC Cabelinho has previously appeared in the soap operas "Amor de mãe" and "Vai na fé," both on Globo, and was recently seen in the series "Fúria" on Netflix.
