At least five people died and around 40 were injured in an accident involving a Dutch tourist bus in Switzerland. The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, when the vehicle overturned on a road in the canton of Graubünden, in the east of the country, between the towns of Susch and Zernez.
The police authorities of the canton of Graubünden reported on the accident and indicated that three people remained in serious condition at the hospital. Rescue teams were mobilized to the scene to provide assistance to the victims.
The vehicle was a tourist transport bus from the Netherlands, carrying passengers traveling through the Swiss region. Local police are investigating the circumstances that led to the vehicle overturning.
