For four generations, the black clay tradition has remained alive in this family from Vila Nova de Poiares. Fernando is the voice that tells the story of this centuries-old art, transmitting knowledge and memory from generation to generation.

POIARTES returns to Vila Nova de Poiares, bringing together a celebration that combines tradition with festive spirit. The event includes moments of festivities, chanfana, champagne and farturas, as well as many exhibitors who are present.

The fair features the participation of numerous artisans and local producers, celebrating the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the region.

China and India closer in New Delhi

The bishop of Beja, D. Fernando Paiva, announced that the School of Theological Culture (ECT) of the diocese will be extended to other geographical areas, after the "very positive" first year, completed by more than 30 students between January and June 2026. The program, dedicated to Biblical Theology and aimed at laypeople, religious and pastoral collaborators, was born from attentive listening to the people of God and aims to form a laity more capable for the mission of the Church. The bishop thanked the teachers and encouraged current and future students to continue deepening their faith.
